JCAS promotes transparency and accountability in the scholarly publishing process. All stakeholders—authors, editors, and reviewers—must disclose any conflicts of interest.

Authors: Must disclose funding sources, institutional affiliations, or financial relationships that could influence their work.

Reviewers: Should recuse themselves if they have a conflict that could compromise impartiality.

Editors: Are required to delegate decision-making for manuscripts where personal, academic, or financial conflicts exist.

A formal conflict of interest statement must accompany all accepted articles.
