Reviewer Evaluation Form
To ensure a consistent and structured peer review process, JCAS provides a standardized Reviewer Evaluation Form, which includes the following sections:
Section A: Manuscript Information
- Title of Manuscript
- Date Received
- Date Reviewed
Section B: Scoring Rubric (Rating: Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor)
- Originality and innovation
- Clarity of presentation and writing quality
- Soundness of methodology and analytical techniques
- Significance of findings to the field
- Quality and relevance of references
- Grammar, syntax, and language usage
Section C: Comments to the Editor
- Confidential observations or contextual notes to support the editorial decision
Section D: Comments to the Author
- Constructive, detailed feedback on strengths, weaknesses, and specific areas for improvement
Section E: Final Recommendation
